Fave Homestead Finds on Amazon Prime Big Deals Day

I’ve scoured Amazon for some of my favorite homesteading deals to share with you. I’ve added plenty of deals, guaranteed to be useful for your homestead. I’ve tried to list the newest deal at the top of the article, but there are also other categorized deals throughout.

Mama’s Wardrobe

I’ve had my eye on coop shoes, specifically the chicken boots, for a while. I managed two pairs of flip flops through the milder part of last year and the summer. Now that fall and winter are upon us, I’m ready for something more heavy-duty. I opted for the clogs at $23.99. The boots are $29.63. Although I love the boots, I also opted to save a few bucks by purchasing the clogs!

I’m a sucker for graphic tees with a message. The messaging “Buy me chickens and tell me you hate the government” is more of a conversation starter. I don’t “hate” the government, but I do believe in limited government, especially in areas where there has been overreach. So, I grabbed this first shirt for $10.19.

I absolutely love the vintage, feminine look of this dress, and the price can’t be beaten at $16.00!

For the home

Sometimes the inside of the home on the homestead needs a little refreshing. I was thankful to find a few good deals for the home as well! I found a quilted spread for my bed, priced right at $25.29. I love white because I instantly know when it’s dirty and I can freshen it up with oxy cleaner or bleach. I took a chance on the Lovewe brand of sheets which are highly rated, deep pocket, and cooling with a great price tag of $$13.50. It may seem a little bougie to some, but silk pillowcases are actually much better for your skin and hair and this 2-pice set is only $5.57, on lightening deal! My daughter picked out the pink Serta duvet cover for her bed, priced at $21.31

I also decided to freshen up my kitchen table with a new tablecloth ($15.99), a 12-pack of reusable cloth napkins (for $13.59 which are money savers), and these cute wooden napkin rings for only $5.77.

Emergency Food Supplies

I know emergency food buckets tend to come complete with free tin foil hats, at least in some imaginations. But I’m here to tell you that, in the Southeast, you really need to be prepared with at the very minimum 72 hours of food, water, and emergency supplies. One week is even better. That is for each person in your household. We get hurricanes, tropical storms, and sometimes we even have random power outages. In the event that your pantry or freezer isn’t well-stocked, or you lose your freezer items due to power failure – all of which have actually happened multiple times in my lifetime – you should be prepared. Now that I’ve given the small disclaimer of a warning, here are the deals I’ve found. If you’re just wanting a 72-hour kit, Ready Wise has one for $29.95 and contains 32 meals. While 4-Patriots has a 72-hour kit for $24.50. The 52-serving MRE bucket by Ready Wise is $54.99 and contains a variety of meals. 4-Patriots has a 4-week kit, with 192 servings for 20% off, at $197.60.

There are actually a lot of these emergency food kits on Amazon Prime Day Sale right now. For the full list, click this link.

Even though it’s not as good of a deal, I wanted to purchase a smaller quantity to try my hand at milling flour. So, I purchased the 16-ounce bag from the same company, 1000 Springs Mills, for $7.43.
