👩👩👧👦 About Vintage Virtues 🌿
Welcome to Vintage Virtues! I’m Jennifer Trimble, the founder of this community. Here, we celebrate and embrace the beauty of intentionally living with biblical values in a modern world.
I write and share content geared towards Christians, traditional families, homeschooling, and homesteading. I hope this site will encourage readers to reflect on the words from Philippians 4:8 KJV, “whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.”
🌟 What Inspired Vintage Virtues? As our culture shifts over time, traditional values may seem like relics of a bygone era. However, there is “nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). With Jesus’s greatest command as our guide – to love God and our neighbors – we naturally embrace values like faith, honor, integrity, the sanctity of life, monogamy in traditional marriage, honesty, and a strong work ethic. The fruit of the Spirit further embodies these values, as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.
