The Green Family Gets the Sniffles by Kate Tietje – $5.99 A children’s book about natural living and herbal remedies, perfect for families interested in natural health.

The King Who Found His Self-Control (A Fruit-of-the-Spirit Tale) by Costi Hinn $11.98, normally $18.99. This book is more than just a cute bedtime story, King Ira’s tale can lead to meaningful talks with your children about our everyday battle with sin and how we can ask God to help us resist the temptation to act out. The Dead Sea Squirrels (12 book series) Each book is available on sale for around $5-$6 each. I absolutely, highly recommend this whole series. There are a total of 12 books, sold individually. Dead Seas Squirrels is a “hilarious new chapter-book series, ten-year-old Michael and his friend Justin sneak into the Dead Sea caves near the archaeological dig where Michael’s dad is working. Michael finds two 2,000-year-old squirrels petrified in sea salt. Hijinks ensue as Michael tries to bring them back to the U. S., hidden in his backpack. What Michael thinks are just cool souvenirs may turn out to be something much more! The Dead Sea Squirrels series is humorous, fun, and filled with character-building lessons.”

Little Pilgrim’s Progress $20.39, normally $34.99 A classic work of literature, adapted for children from John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress.

This book, Homeschool Bravely, came highly recommended when I first started homeschooling. It has been a great source of encouragement. Right now, you can get the paperback on a Black Friday Deal for $10.86, normally $15.99.

Likewise, Dumbing Us Down is another great book by John Taylor Gatto, a veteran schoolteacher and “Teacher of the Year,” who points out the major issues of industrial schooling in America. This one is $12.08, normally $19.99.

The Call of the Wild and Free: Reclaiming the Wonder in Your Child’s Education is priced at $13.59. This book is all about reclaiming your homeschools journey. There’s a whole Wild + Free online community and local groups that go on outdoor adventures together.

I highly recommend Corrie Ten Boom’s book, The Hiding Place. It’s the emotionally of how Corrie’s family hid Jewish people in their home and eventually began moving people underground during the Nazi regime. Eventually, Corrie and her sister ended up in a concentration camp as well. By the grace of God, Corrie made it out. This story is a historical must-read. It’s on sale for $10.15, normally $17.99.

The Giver series is one of my all-time favorite sets. Both of my girls have read them and now it’s about time for my son to do the same. I was pleased to see that the set is $35.28, compared to the usual $51.96. It’s even cheaper than the Prime Day Deal was!

ELA Finds

I love the Montessori style for little learners. I found this great site word bundle with 520 sight words, appropriate for Pre-K to 3rd graders, priced at $16.79. I also found a cute wooden alphabet tracing board. One of the critical skills at an early age is eye hand coordination, and teaching muscle memory to little hands. This tracing board is perfect for reinforcing that skill. It’s priced at $22.99.

P.E. and Game Time!

Electronics for the Homeschool

Amazon has some great Black Friday Deals on Kids Devices and Kids Tablet Bundles. One of the best tablet deals, is on the 10″ display Fire Tablet with 32GB, is $69.99., normally $139.99! This device is compatible with Teaching Textbooks and Abeka curricula. It’s also useful for YouTube tutorials. If you’re looking for something for smaller hands, at a lower price point, the 7″ Kids Fire Tablet is also 50% off, at $54.99. Amazon has a great deal on a “worry-free” Kindle for Kids, and it comes with the guarantee, “If it breaks, we replace it”.

School Room Supplies

Canon PIXMA G6020 All-in-One Supertank Wireless (Megatank) Printer $199.99, normally $213.99. This is the same printer we use for homeschooling and my husband’s business. It has a high page yield, print up to 6,000 Black text pages or 7,700 Color pages per each full ink bottle set!

This is the exact laminator that I have. We’ve used it for making bookmarks, preserving work, and it’s even useful for making homeschool IDs, sealing HSLDA cards, and other projects. It’s on sale for $30.58.

We had to replace our Dymo label maker. Although it’s a great product that lasted for a while, we took a chance on this Phomemo Label Maker Machine. Right now, it’s priced at $17.44, which is even cheaper than I bought it for! This label maker has Bluetooth capability, allowing you to design your labels on an app and print them wirelessly. It’s a pretty cool feature!

STEM Learning

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) is hot right now! There are currently over 1,000 results, covering 48 pages of Black Friday Deals on STEM items and so many Black Friday deals! We love incorporating building activities into our STEM-based homeschool environment. Below are my favorite deals!

• Snap Circuits kit: These awesome kits captured my son’s interest after playing with it at a STEM event. We purchased a set as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. This home electronics building kit is priced right at $48.74, at 37% off.
• TOMYOU 200 Pieces Building Blocks: The #1 most gifted item, priced at $15.99. These building blocks have been a hit with my son, who enjoys tinkering with them!
• Straw construction set: Even the teens in our homeschool environment enjoy playing with this cool set priced at $15.49, an even better deal than last year!
• 134-piece Magnetic Tile Set: A definite winner, my son has been playing with these for years. We even gifted some to my nephew. The current price for this set is $31.99, 20% off and cheaper than last year!

We bought this 36-color polymer clay kit which is currently priced at $15.79. This is an essential purchase for our homeschool every year. My son enjoys using it to create a variety of projects.

Bible Study

I was using the 12-pack BIC Brite Pastel Highlighters, an Amazon Choice item and they worked great (priced at $6.29). But when I need replacements, I opted for these 8-pack Mr. Pen- Aesthetic Cute Pastel Highlighters and I absolutely love them for my Bible. They’re a #1 Best-seller and priced great at $6.85.

If you’re looking for a new Bible to be used in your homeschool room or even in general, there are some fantastic deals available.The KJV Journal the Word Bible is great for notetaking, journaling, and art, and is currently on sale for a phenomenal $14.17 (originally $39.99). Likewise, the NASB Journal the Word Bible (which is the one I currently use) is 49% off at $27.81. Additionally, the NIV/KJV/NASB/Amplified Parallel Bible, usually priced at $69.99, is currently available for $33.77. This is the lowest I’ve seen it so take advantage of these special prices now!
