30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: Embrace Thankfulness Every Day in November

I challenge you to join me in giving thanks to God, every day of this month. November is one of my favorite months of the year. Fall is in full swing; the spooky decorations and costumes have been put away. The air is crisp, cool, and refreshing. Thoughts of Thanksgiving decorations, feasts, family, and all-around thankfulness begin to dance in my mind as my heart prepares for the Christmas season. God’s word, the Bible, tells us to give thanks, stating “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). I am also reminded of a key passage here at Vintage Virtues found in Philippians 4:8 which states, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. With that in mind, I have compiled a list of 30 things to be thankful for and meditate on—one for each day of November. Below, you’ll find three photos with each of the challenge prompts for each day.

To recap:

It’s quite simple. For the next 30 days, let’s engage in a deep sense of gratitude towards God. Direct your focus on the daily prompts that correspond to each date. My hope in this challenge is to turn eyes towards Jesus, particularly during this Thanksgiving month. To see all of the November Thankful For posts, click here to visit Vintage Virtues on Facebook!
